Glad to hear things are going so much better - I know the stress well of having a parent go so close to the edge. I’m happy she’s getting healthy, as well as that you’ll be headed back to dotter and DH soon. Keeping you and your mom in my thoughts…

Thanks, from the bottom(and top) of my heart for guiding, nursing, cajolling and occasional shoving GJ, your mum, into a highly improved mode of living ( I detest the,ugh, invented word lifestyle, pitooy).

So very glad you updated with good news! I was getting nervous on your behalf and I don’t even know your Mom. But I am a daughter who went through a similar situation and am so happy for you that you have a good outcome. You are a good daughter (and wife and Mom). Hopefully you will be able to get home quickly, easily, happily.

Oh, I’m SO pleased to have been able to help, even if just a little and from a very great distance. I was wondering whether to drop you a line and ask about your mum as you’d not been posting for a long time, but didn’t want to hear if it was bad news or not. Lucy of Attic24 has such a wonderfully colourful blog that it’s always a delight to look at. And it’s a relief to know your mum’s getting better.

SWMBO has been through the awful transitions into death with both of her parents and with my father. I’m glad for you to have a cheery outcome at the end of your extended visit with your mother. It is never easy but I am sure she is blessing you for your kindness. And for the tulips!
