You can follow his lead and work with the O’Daughter in her art work.
Ask questions re: pictures and when out walking, etc. help her to “see” the details around her - to be aware of all those little things that make a picture come alive. He was like the teachers I had and profited from.
You really lucked out on your ride back and I’m sure she has overcome some of her shyness about asking questions of strangers, etc.
you both are very lucky to have each other.
