My 5 y.o. actually responded in similar fashion to a recent film we watched where I had forgotten about the "adult language" and violence (it too was a movie of the 90s). The other day I thought mine was old enough to see Beetlejuice (go ahead...say it 3 times and bring him out!LOL) and Gremlins and although I cringed and winced through Bettlejuice (it has a whorehouse reference for pete's sake!!)
