Your kids is a keeper! So cute. :-)

I love that Barack Obama is our President. And I sleep really well knowing that SP isn't a breath away from being POTUS.

I must say that I admire your daughter for loving this boy even with his deformity. Those bright red lips do distract one from that circly - cyclop spot but I think I'd have trouble. Do you think their children would have that circly - cyclop on their faces? ;)

Every picture I saw of Mr. and Mrs. Obama had me smiling and just in awe of how he looked at her like she was the only woman on earth and she looked at him the same (except as the only man on earth. LOL!) I am envious of this love and connection.

He's adorable, but his parents should consult a doctor about the fact that he has a swirl in his face instead of eyes.

Yay OAOTL!

That's so sweet -- I love that she got a wonderful letter in return.

Regarding the Obamas, I noticed this all during the campaign as well. Mushy cuteness aside (awwww!), it can be seen in photos and video how very present they are with one another. They have the ability to focus on a moment and I like that a lot.

It is hard to believe you have been in Alaska over a year already. Time passes so quickly when you get older and so slowly when you are young. Having relationships that last a long time are so satisfying and comforting and amazing, especially when you end up moving frequently. I am glad omegadotter's OAOTL is still true. My grand daughter has a similar relationship with a boy she has known since she was a month old. Whenever they see each other they still talk about how they will live as a married couple when they are older. Who knows what the future holds but the memory of this friendship will last forever.
