I am incensed that here in the New York Metropolitan area we have heard NOTHING, NOTHING about this!! All I have heard about SP is that she is permitting or encouraging arial shooting of wolves. While I find that appalling and have signed petitions to have that stopped where do I sign to protect these PEOPLE? Where are the champions of the native Alaskans?

This governor gig is just a stepping stone. She doesn’t have time to get distracted in the details (like, say, human beings). She’s busy creating expense reimbursement irregularities and planning her political career.

Are you one of these (insert derogatory adjective) bloggers that try to keep the one and only hope of the right down?

Good for you. And us.

But to the point of Noreen - there’s got to be another way to get rid of her for Alaska than sending her to the Senate… how about impeaching her for all the transgressions? Oh, but that would require enough votes for someone else. And last time I checked Ted, the convicted felon, was barely defeated at the last election….

Thanks so much for adding to the voices speaking out for the villages in Alaska. I’ve never been to Emmanok, but I have been to Bethel. I’m an avid fan of progressive Alaska blogs, so I’m up on what’s happening in that village, but the media in the Lower 48 — at least on the East Coast– hasn’t carried anything about the crises there. Keep up the drum beat. I’m so, so tired of that self-centered governor you have to put up with. How many more years is Alaska stuck with her? Two? That’s too long.

I guess she figures with Russia right in y’alls’ backyard you could just grab a few bottles of 100% proof vodka and heat their homes with that. And hey, if you get the kiddos drunk enough they won’t even notice they’re cold and hungry anymore. Whassa mattah? Don’t like her politics?

I don’t think Sarah Palin could find her way out of a wet paperbag. I can’t stand that woman. Everytime she opens her mouth I want someone to put a big red apple in her mouth and roast her over an…uhm, nevermind.
