Awesome! I wanted to be a scientist when I was a kid but I ended up an English major instead. My senior year of college I took a "science for dummies" class and got an A and the Geology department tried to recruit me to be a Geology major. If I came back in another life, maybe I'd be a scientist. But anyway, the few science books I've read in my life (A Brief History of Time, In Search of Shrodinger's Cat, something about chaos theory) have really impacted my perception of the universe -- I'm really curious to hear the top ten science books, and add them to the ever-growing pile of books that are on deck.

I'm looking forward to seeing the top ten. I'm not sure I have the energy to look through all 4xx responses but may pop over there to anyway.

Have you ever listened to the Skeptics Guide to the Universe?

Actually, it went *poof* on November 5. Your He Won! entry didn't make it under the wire either; it's dated November 6. Too bad, we were looking forward to daily posts.
