My favourite beet recipe these days involves yellow beets, peel and put in foil with a little olive oil, salt and pepper and throw on the BBQ or pop in the oven...so amazing! Maybe you could get a German shepherd or some such kind of dog as a second dog and have a doggie door so the new dog could chase the Moose away?
