Big Day

posted in OmegaDotter |

We had sunshine today!  Woot!

Aaaaand….

Yes!  That’s right!  The dotter now can ride her bike without training wheels!  Double WOOT!

In the meantime, we have re-applied the super-duper moose-away called “Plantskydd”, which is (ew, yuck) ground up and dehydrated cow blood.  It worked before, it can work again; we just need to be sure we re-apply it to the veggie garden and the perimeter of the yard every four to six weeks.

You just have to stop letting that girl grow. She’s getting *way* too big. And riding with out training wheels? Yikes! Shouldn’t she still be on a tricycle - or better yet, a walker? I still can’t believe how time has gone by so fast. I’m just flabbergasted.

Gross on the cow’s blood but if it keeps the Mooses away then yay!

Liz–She’s six, and this is the first time she’s done it. She had the training wheels for two years. Letting her ride on the lawn, facing down a slight slope, helped a whole bunch; I can’t take credit for the idea, it was my hubby’s.

Baggage, Prez–Isn’t it gross? Alas, it didn’t work, see my latest entry. :(

Ano, Jean–Yup, I’m just bustin’ out with pride. A big step forward!

Prez–For more “growing” info, see the latest entry, too. You’re right, she’s getting *way* too big!
