Uhhh! I hate to tell you, this feeling never goes away, even when they're adults. I not only imagine earthquakes (they don't happen around here, but I imagine them), I also imagine avalanches, car wrecks, car wrecks and more car wrecks and of course a fire or two. But, I keep it all to myself, or at least try to.

Isn't it funny how our brains work? When they are there we envision how nice it would be to have some space for ourselves. When they are not there, we worry about them...

Hopefully she'll be home soon and you'll be wondering when she'll be off again. ;) I worry everytime one of my boys go off with a friend or for an overnight. I always think the worst and with in an hour of them being home I'm thinking "When can they go spend the night again?" Middle has issues with sleeping at other's houses so he usually comes home exhausted and cranky and won't sleep until night so that means we put w/ an E & C 12 year old until he passes out. Oye!
