Only a couple years ago, one town had a segregated senior prom. If I didn't see it with my own eyes (Husband is from a very small rural Georgian town) I would'nt believe that such things still happen. But they do. Today much is being made of MLK's asassination. It's on the news, in the schools, on the radio...and I hope...I hope people are paying attention. BTW, I didn't know that about PRide either. And YouTube is a rabbit hole.
