Please say more about Number 2--sunshine, since I bought my plane ticket to Alaska today to use right as the summer solstice nears. But really, I even read your technical blog the other day and enjoyed it, so write about anything.

That economist is seriously out of touch with reality. While the rules may be technically correct, because the bottom quintile can legally do those things, it doesn't mean they have the resources to do so. Because we don't.

#4--because I don't know anything about homeschooling, but if our local school continues to be this dangerous and we don't hit the lottery to get Bug into a better one, I'm going to be learning in a few years.

I vote for #3 or #6. Surely #5 will make my hair stand on end with rage. Because I homeschooled the boys for three years and they kicked ass when they went back to regular school. And I may be psychotic now, but I wasn't then. (Har.) Although seeing your smackdown on that one might be good entertainment.

I have commented before - when you were thinking of giving your dotter riding lessons, I think! It was a while ago, before I had a tiny blog of my own, so my name might have been different.

I am a loyal reader - I must confess through bloglines though.

First - I was sorry to hear of your grandmothers passing. I am terrible with finding appropriate words for those kinds of things, and unfortunately fall back on saying nothing. Now that I actually feel like I have something to say, I have to back-peddle and feel all funny about it. Apologies for that.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the homeschooling article. I have a friend who is a teacher in the school system that my own daughter(s - someday we hope) will attend. She is seriously considering homeschooling, and that piques my interest.

You could post the lyrics to zippedy doo dah and I'd read it. I'm a fan, so anything you write is fine with me.

15 readers, my ass. You surely have to beat my 75-100 readers per day. I have the most pathetic blog stats in the blogosphere.
