Courtney--Thanks!

B.A.--Well, it was *this* little girl's dream, I think...

Ano--The "pink thingy" is a "Pinkie Pie's Balloon House", and was a great hit.

Mamasan--Bit your tongue, woman! What a dreadful thought!

Noreen--For a non-party-thrower, I think I did pretty well.

PinkDevora--I can take *no* credit. I googled "mermaid birthday party" and borrowed the fishies idea and the jellyfish, and originally was planning lots of blue and purple ballons floating around the floor but got too tired out for that. The Google is a great resource for this kind of stuff--there are entire "birthday party websites"!

Sister Carrie--The folks who RSVP'd showed, the ones who didn't, didn't show. But I still think next year I'll take your suggestion and do "call to let me know if you can or can't make it".

Figlet--Don't be impressed. I was as stressed by this as Mrs. Figby was by her open house. This was just a bunch of kids!

Lauri--The fruits and veggies were cribbed from someone else's party, too. Alas, only a few carrots were eaten, a few bites of apple, and LOTS of goldfish. But I tried!

I stopped by right now, taking a break from my cleaning/decluttering/can't find the damn brush attachment(s) for the vacuum/losing my mind over it, to see what's going on in Omega Land. First of all, can I say that party looks like it was magical and enchanting and SO MUCH FUN?! Wow! I'm impressed. And I'm also coveting the little Pink Pony contraption. Yes I am. WOw. That is serious awesomeness. It's making MY head explode. And now, I shall continue on my merry way, to toss the assorted bits and pieces of pink plastic things that were once awesome in their own way.

The party looks so cute. You did a great job. It looks like you had a good turnout, RSVPs or not.

I am shamed by the creativeness. Where do you get these ideas? I am going to be a terrible mother, if creative birthday parties = good mother.

Wait, my sisters and mother are creative. I think they'll be doing the planning for me. Saved!

It looked fabulous, and it seems that everyone had a wonderful time. Happy Birthday, OmegaDotter!

You are now an A-1 accomplished b-day party giver! Perhaps you & the OD should hire out as a team!
