Where did she get the idea that California is the place to go??? It's where folks are leaving these days -- at least to judge from what they did to our real estate prices the past couple of years...however, her art work is growing up by leaps and bounds.

She is a beautiful Indian though! My preschooler was an Indian too, but they just sang songs. Very very cute, and I just thought we were going to have a feast with him, so I didn't bring my camera! ARGH!

But seriously, from one person who doesn't like to be snarky and obnoxious to another -- what is everyone talking about when they complain that schools are too PC? From private Montessori preschool to public elementary school, there hasn't been a holiday that has gone by that hasn't made me wonder where these people have been the last twenty years or what in the world they're thinking.

Adorable little Injun you have there. Ok. Seriously, cute on one hand (I mean seriously cute) but then, wait! When I picked LSP up from school on the Friday before Thanksgiving, she was wearing the Indian head dress she had made for the Thanksgiving Feast. And we were all "Oh my GOD that's sooo cute. But wait a minute! Who gets to be a pilgrim?" So I guess I'll have to wait to find out next year when I actually attend the ceremony, unless we go to China again. (Hah. Probably not.) I'm going to have LSP tell them in school that her Daddy is descended from Oceanus Hopkins. And let's see if they still make her an Indian....

That's just adorable. I was taken by surprise by her Pilgrim, cause I keep thinking of Omegadotter as being about three years old. Where does the time go?

I love when Boo dictates stories to the teacher and she writes them down. They are so precious and so funny!
