I loved to flounce and sass when I was younger. I love to flounce and sass now that I am older. It's kinda hard to "flounce and sass" with a cane but I'm sure I can do it once I ditch this sucker. It's an art form, ya know. Not everyone can do it. I think OD should be commended for being a flouncer and sasser. Give her a hug from one F&S to another. :) (And, I'm *so* glad I don't have girls. LOLOL!)

When I was raising my girls the only thing I wanted was for them to be normal. I didn't care if they were not the valdectorian or the star athlete or award wining in any arena. I just wanted normal and within limits that is what I got. Sounds like you are raising a normal child also. Congratulations!

I think the lesson Miss Cassie was teaching Dotter is one that Sana and Adnan would benefit from...or am I just trying too hard to find a connect?

And flouncing and sassing has its advantages....

Another reason to rejoice in the simplicity of merely being Grandma! I do like the fact that your Dotter feels confident enough to express her negative feelings. Some children lack the self esteem to do that. And figlet has a point. There may be more to the story!

I'm passing the 'you make me smile' award on to you. You can pick it up at my site any time.

I can wait for the day LSP sticks her tongue out at another kid and says she doesn't like him. Yes, give me another 12 years of the lovin' everybody stage. I think that "I don't like you" often means, though, that the other kid has done something that has hurt the aggressor's feelings. Just a guess. Not that I'm standing up for Omega Dotter. Hee! Still, a pocket teacher sounds like a great idea.
