Our neighborhood doesn't have those splendid pointy mountains and glaciers, just lots of hills and some smaller, more rounded mountains. So we have to travel a little bit (but not very far at all!) to see the more splendid scenery. SheOfLittleBrain--I am most fond of the dead salmon portrait! SBird--I'm glad the gorgeousness comes through. But my new digicam is frustrating the heck out of me; my old one allowed me to crop and resize without that pixelating thing going on, and I can't figure out how to do it in this new cmaera. Bah.
