I’m gonna cry

posted in Uncategorized |

Frickin’ fracken’ rowrbazzlin’ appraiser.

We were scheduled to close on Monday.

The appraiser didn’t even schedule an appraisal until today.

Now the appraiser has rescheduled for tomorrow.

The appraiser thinks she won’t be done with the report until Monday.

The mortgage company needs the appraisal to hand us the dinero.

The sellers want to move the closing date to next Friday.

Our temporary housing $$ run out 30 days after they start…OmegaDad got here on the 31st of July.

Not only will we be stuck in the Shoebox for a few days longer than we expected, we’re going to have to pay for it, too.

GAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!

I’m sorry. Go ahead and cry. Things will work out in the end, but for now, you are more than okay to scream and curse and cry…

Next Friday is still August. If it were me, I’d move all my stuff to the front yard of the new house before the closing. Is it currently occupied? Or else, dadgum, move out over that weekend and just don’t pay the rent for September. What are they gonna do? Around here, people normally don’t pay ANY rent for the six months it takes to get an eviction carried out (which explains why so many move every six months).

dreadful! don’t these people know that you need to get out of the Shoebox?!

I say some serious foot stomping is in order. And perhaps, if you are going to cough up money anyway, a decent hotel for a night. It doesn’t sound like it will be too long, so you might as well enjoy it a bit.

And if it is Friday, ask for 8 am or 9 am or whatever you can manage, then get some bedding into that house fast. You can sleep simply while you clean and paint and stuff– it’ll be like, um, camping, without the bugs?

I’m grasping at straws here. I think you had best just be annoyed, actually.

So sorry to hear this–when you want it to be over, you just want it to be over. UGH.
