This was such a good story to share. Thank you! I have been cleaning out and getting ready for a garage sale and as I find things I am getting nostalgic about times gone by. I know how hard it can be to leave a place where so many important things have happened in your life but I also know that you will have great times in Alaska and many new adventures. Thinking of you and wishing you the best.

I remember the first picture I saw of Dotter. She's as adorable now as she was then. :) Happy Memories.

I recall that you were undersized, but we didn't want to throw you back in the pond -- so I made several wee baby Tshirts out of colorful grown-up Ts I bought at resale shops. No pastels for my kid! One was checkered red.

In the meantime, you've been tagged. Scroll down to the July 11 post for the gory details.

Aww! Very sweet! You have to save some of those outfits that are so filled with memories in a box for OD.

I used to say I wished I could shrink wrap dd when she was that size because she was growing so fast.

And we just ripped out the off white carpet on our steps this year which th eprevious owners-who did not have kids yet-had put in. When I painted the hallway I just used the now hideous carpet as a drop cloth.
