Joan--Yeah, it was semi-wrenching. It is, however, *much* easier to handle!

SpaceMom--Damn! I wish I had thought of Locks of Love! I did save one lock, however, for the memory book.

Mrs. Figby, SBird--Yay--it will grow back, yes...

Everyone--Yes, it's very cute. At times, it makes her look older, at times it makes her look younger, and it's very swing-y, which is neat. And the hair cut part wasn't a trauma at all; she had a grand time with the hair gal. It was the whacking of the locks in the a.m. that was traumatic.

That's the thing about hair...it's eventually always recoverable.

I love the bob!

She does look really different, but super cute! And of course, if she wants it to, it will always grow out again.

Awww. She's adorable! It's so different when they get a "real" haircut, I know. When my littlest esp. gets her haircut (always a few inches at least, because I tend to let it go for awhile) it takes me days to get used to looking at her. She looks cute/different/grown-up all at the same time. I expect you're experiencing the same thing. But what a relief not to have those hair battles!
