I mentioned the "calling him Dad" thought of horror too. My aunt and uncle called each other Mom and Dad even after (long after) their kids had grown and moved out and sometimes I am worried that due to always referring to each other that way with the kids that it will unexpectedly seep into our brains forever. Yikes! I had so much fun reading everyone's blast posts and writing my own, I hope you'll do them regularly! (On the down side my blog roll is rapidly growing out of control!) Ha! The first anniv. we went to a place where they brought out the hot towels. We thought that was a bit much but found one place we like to go back to. This year I decided I couldn't think of a good bday present and so I set it up for us to go to a B&B less than an hour away but near an area with local winerys.That was alot of fun. With dh's bday in March and mine in Aug I figure we can get 2 getaways in per year if the grandparents are around to have dd for a sleepover. Take Granny J up on her offer and go do it!
