That was gonna be my advice. It isn't as cheap as buying turbo tax, but I consider it a Marriage Saving Device. It falls into the category of things I will always pay for in order to avoid the fighting that happens if I don't. Our taxes are complicated, what with employment income and my practice, too, so that's another good excuse for us now, but we started paying someone to do our taxes long before I was in practice.
