Mercy me!

posted in Frustration, Reader Input |

I am throwing myself upon my readers’ mercy.  My brain is a blank, and has been for days.  Ask me some questions.  Suggest a topic.  Help!

    Try these:

*when you go out walking, what does OD notice and comment on?
    *when you go shopping, ditto.
*what is she especially interested in having you read to her?
*has she learned any poetry or verse to recite?
*Aesop has all those little homilies at the end of each fable; has OD caught on to the moral of the story yet?
*what have You read recently that you esp. liked? why?
*Vista, the new opsys? Any comment on it?
    *digital vs. film cameras
(speaking of which, my new box arrived!)

Have fun. Hope I struck a note for you.

At YesButNoButYes, there’s a series called “You show me yours…” where people share stories of their past. One asked about the weirdest roommate story, another about innapropriate co-workers, etc. Maybe you could write some stories of weird people you have known.

Hey, that’s what AmFam just did… is this national “ask the blogger a question” week?

    I’ll bite.

Why do you use blogger and not one of the other blogging tools?

Why do you post so few pictures?

What’s the OmegaDotter’s favorite thing to do?

What’s your favorite thing to do with her?

It seems to be going around.

Mrs. Chicky has done a couple of answer interview questions…so the other commenters have a good idea.

Or, the month is almost up. You could join the Just Post for Social Justice roundatable this month and post about someting in society you think needs attention.

    Here’s a few….

    * What traits of yours are you trying not to pass on to the Dotter?

    * What traits DO you want her to pick up?

    * If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

    * Has the experience of being a mother changed you in any profound ways? Or are you still Omega woman just with another section added to your life?

Ok, I always love it when you talk about OD and post pics of her.

I like anything you post about adoption.

Okay, I have sort of a wanky question:

you always post such a patchwork of links in your posts…have you written yourself a program that speeds that process up? Because the thought of posting even one link in a post nearly sends me to shivers…and I end up not posting anything as a result.

Yeah, I told you it was non-substantive….

What is something someone did or said to you as a child that cut you like a knife that you still remember vividly, and feel sad about today?
