		<description>SBird--Fendler was a busy man in the NM area for about two years.  You do find his name all over the place!  I read some quick bios on him, and he was rather interesting--lived as a hermit for a year on an island in the middle of the Missouri River...

		<description>See?  This is what I was talking about with wildflowers and names:  Fendler's Pennycress...how much better could it get?  (We also have had a Fendler's Sandwort here; our guy Fendler must have gotten around...!)

I looked up the date two years ago I found the first wild candytuft here at the ranch--it was March 5th...so that's about right for y'all up there, I would think...
