Theresa--I'm *always* in a last-minute rush! Congrats on the last coat of paint!

Liz--Ahem. You don't think *WE* got that huge giftie?! Oh, no, it's from Grandma Jeannie, and will be a major hit. I looked at the price online (after it showed up at our doorstep) and my eyes bugged out.

I think E would love to be your second child, as she wants one of those jeeps more than anything. We go to Toys R US on rare occasions and she heads straight for the damned things, and keeps telling us that we are going to buy one.

Over my dead body. But that is another issue.

Anyway, the tree looks lovely and you are the nicest mommy ever for getting OD that wretched jeep. It is the kind she can fit into and drive herself, right? My kid is dying for one.

Great to know someone else is in the last minute rush. Our tree is hanging out in our garage right now in a bucket of homemade tree preserver as we wait for the final coat of paint in the living room to dry! (Can you tell I'm excited to be finished?)

As for the ornaments clustered near OD-don't you just love how the kids put all the ornaments in the same spot? Last year I had to rearrange a bunch after dd went to bed since she'd put ten ornament on a single branch.

Enjoy the magical mahem of the next few days and good luck with re. to those packages you are still waiting for.
