Unka Bill–Thanks! OmegaGranny immediately checked her camera, and it doesn’t have the sports mode; I think it’s something that is “relatively” recent.

Richard–Good point about mentioning the slideshow; you’re right that it doesn’t show up in the RSS feed.

Miss C.–Ack! Get a new camera! Or a cellphone like PAGent’s, that takes smashing pics! I would be lost without the digicam.

Hi, ThirdMom! Good to see you! Alas, we didn’t have leftovers this year, as we didn’t do the feast ourselves. Maybe Christmas will do it for us…

Jen–Would you believe that dress was on sale for almost half off?! I was jazzed when we got it. As for the grainy/fuzzy…are you sure you’re using the sports mode? Our digicam has another mode called “scene” which is useless. Also, I cherry-picked the photos to use, then photoshopped them (okay, Corel-Drawed them), cropping, lightening them up, adjusting the colors, and sharpening.

She is so beautiful. I cannot believe how big she has gotten. What a gorgeous dress, too!

I loved those pictures of your family!

BTW, I have a Canon Powershot A75, and we’ve used the active and sports shots but we still have trouble with either grainy looking photos or fuzzy photos. Any suggestions?

Wonderful photos - it looks like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I’ve been reading your blog awhile, may have delurked before but thought I’d introduce myself. I’m a fellow a-mom, my children are Korean, both teens.

We have a frig full of yummy leftovers, which is a good part of holiday fun to me - nothing like re-heated turkey, stuffing and gravy with leftover cranberry sauce on the side!

Great pics. I didn’t know about the sport mode. That’s a good solution for snapshooters with an unpredictable subject (aka kids). The slideshow was great.

Also, the slideshow doesn’t show up when I view your post in my aggregator (checked in both GReader and Bloglines). All I get is a tiny blue icon that takes me to the photobucket main page.

You might want to preface it with a “here’s a slideshow” so people know to click through to your site to check out what they’re missing (which I did).

Happy Thanksgiving to you to. But you guys are a month and a half late!
