Houses that sold in a day or so have been on the market for several months. This is all so nuts, and I hope things work out for the Omegas. I'm happy we bought 14 years ago. The problem is the governor wants us to use the national poverty level for deciding on who needs help despite the fact that we have a much higher cost of living... I mean everything--oil prices, people in places we can't pronounce who hate us, global warming (maybe it's not after all), those people outside the country that want their kids to have a life here instead of places none of us would choose as home, and many more that I am too scared to think about.
