Thats life. But in these cases, like cocaine farmers in Columbia, the poor people on the bottom get a small pittance compared to the corrupt middlemen. I wonder about countries like Ethiopia, though, where the supply is huge and the demand not so great yet (sorry, I know this terminology is not the prettiest). I would think corruption would be less possible. I'm going to do my research on Ethiopia because DH and I are thinking of possibly adopting from Ethiopia at some point.
