I have a bog box of letters Jeff sent me when we were "courting", and I have at least a dozen spiral notebooks full of what he jotted down during the day... a lot of those notes were things he wanted to remember to tell me. And he would also leave love notes around the house for me and our daughters. Those are all very precious. I feel sorry for that old man, because YES, it IS important to have those thoughts on paper.
