Yeah...as if I can help it. As if I can change the fact that I don't like olives.

And yes, it is part of "be prepared". I think about things, tear them apart, read everything, but in the moment, I sort of let go. What I don't like is having amoment pass and thinking, "Hmmm...I wasn't prepared for that in the LEAST" or thinking "I only had plan of action to choose from in that moment, and I'm not sure it as the best. I need more options so I can fine-tune if need be."

So, although I can't empathize with the particulars of adoption, I can sympathize with being accused of thinking too much.

Not that it means the thoughts are necessarily profound or earth-moving, but they do keep on.</description>
